A qualified nutrition professional works with our athletes to develop a nutritional strategy that is balanced, sustainable and meets their individual needs. Our philosophy is that food is fuel and we know that in order for our athletes to perform and recover optimally, nutrition needs to be a priority. Additionally, Inside Edge builds healthy people so we work to educate our athletes about the importance of nutrition for positive health and wellbeing.

We believe in training with purpose as it provides form to our goal(s). We know your purpose dictates training so all our athletes go through a preparation phase, which involves goal-setting to determine short-and-long-term goal(s) along with biomechanical performance testing which helps us to design and implement a training plan that is effective for each athlete’s specific needs. No plan is the same, all programs are periodised and tailored to the individual, their goals, training competency, testing results and injury history. Inside Edge helps you connect purpose to your path.

We emphasis rest and recovery with all our athletes as we know it is a crucial part of improving sports performance and preventing injury. This phase allows the body and mind to optimally recover between workouts and from competition. We implement short-term and long-term recovery tools into our athlete’s training programs to help them adapt to the stressors of training, and demands of their sport. We focus on strategies that improve sleep quality, reduce stress, and accelerate recovery. Rest and recovery is vital to keep our athletes healthy and protecting against injury.
